God Is Our Customer
Christians have the door to the true fulfilment open before them. Though real faith in Jesus, the greatest human needs for security, identity, acceptance, significance, peace, joy, and purpose are met. Yet, for most of us Christians in Business, fulfilment seems to be the hardest goal to reach. Why? Because we put hope in god, still we are attached to the sense of self-worth that money, influence, fame, and prestige provide. Therefore, we live in the sorrows brought by worldly pursuits and easily we fall away. Also many Cristians view business only as a means to make money, They keep their spiritual and business lives separate assuming that “faith and business do not mix.” Hence, they live with constant contradictions and a sense of guilt.
This book reminds us that we cannot find fulfilment and will continue to live beneath our potential and privileges as children of God unless we create in our businesses a culture that is consistent with our life purpose: to glory God.
